Sitzmark Ranch
On behalf of Sitzmark Travel, we welcome you to Camp
Marianne. We are pleased that your group has chosen the Sitzmark Ranch Home for your
reunion. To make your stay more enjoyable and to preserve the overall beauty of the house
and grounds, we present the following information and regulations:
1. We request that NO SHOES or BOOTS be worn while inside the house. You may store them in
the mud room which is located just off the kitchen.
2. This is a NON-SMOKING home and NO PETS.
3. IMPORTANT: Please read the TV instructions for the TV before using it. There is a
booklet on the coffee table with instructions.
4. The house is on a well water system. If many people take showers, run the dishwasher,
and laundry washing machine all at the same time, or within a very short period of time,
the WELL MAY BECOME DELETED (It has to "rest" and recover). You will know this
is happened because the water coming out of the faucet will appear rusty. You need
to stagger the amount of water use as much as possible. We suggest you run the dishwasher
at a time when showers are not being taken. It does take quite a bit of use of water to
deplete the well, but it has been know to happen.
5. DO NOT START THE WASHER OR DISHWAHER AND LEAVE THE HOUSE. If there is not enough water
in the well, it will burn up the motor.
6. The plumbing is a septic system. Please DO NOT FLUSH anything in the toilets other than
the toilet paper that is provided. Also, the garbage disposal cannot "digest"
meat, bones, or grease. The garbage disposal is on the small left hand side of the sink.
7. You are welcome to use the games, puzzles, videotapes, etc. Please return them to their
proper places.
8. There are cleaning product under the kitchen sink for any spot cleaning you might need
to do. You are not required to clean the home when you depart.
9. There is a covered trash bin outside next to the garage. Please put any trash with food
in the bin and shut the lid. This prevents unwelcome critters.
10. Please close any open windows before leaving the house for any
extended period. The weather is unpredictable and it could rain or snow while your away.
11. If there will be children in the hot tub, please make sure to check the water
temperature first. It tends to run on the hot side. Children are not allowed in the hot
tub without a responsible Adult present. If the caretakers observe children unattended,
the hot tub will be drained.
[There are caretakers on-site that live in a separate apartment at the rear of the garage,
with the entrance in the rear. In case of EMERGENCY during your stay, contact Rami Carter
(970) 470-3774].
