Entry # 1 by Cousin Michelle ( Sung to the Tune of "The Beverly
Hillbillies" )
Camp Marianne is the place you want to be
You can mountain hike, horseback ride, or look at scenery,
River Raft, Fishing, or alot of shopping,
Just make sure you can find your way back.
Try to make sure you pick up all of your mess
So you will not make mad the hostess.
Cause if you dont
You will not live for a week or so
If you dont understand, I'm sorry my friend
Cause camp marianne is a memory that will never end !!

Come 'n listen to my story 'bout a man named CD A.H.O.L.E.
Poor Mountaineer barely kept his camp attendees fed
An' then one day, he was shootin' at some food,
An' up thru the ground came a bubblin' crude
Oil that is! Black gold! Texas tea!
Well, the first thing ya know, Gary is A.H.O.L.E.
Kin-folk said, "Gary, travel away from there."
Said Colorado is the place y'oughta be,
so they loaded up their trucks, and they traveled to Colorado.
Winter Park that is! Staff', camp attendees!
Ol' Gary stayed in his room. Lawdy it was swank
Next door neighbor was hostess of the retreat,
Lotsa folks objected, but the C.D. A.H.O.L.E. found no fault,
'Cause ol' Gary' millions was a-layin' in the vault
Cash, that is! Capital gains, Depletion money!
Well now it's time to say goodbye to C.D. A.H.O.L.E.and all his facility
An' they would like to thank you folks fer kindly droppin' in.
You're all invited back again to another locality,T'
Have a heapin' helpin'of their hospitality.
Anywhere else, that is! Set a spell, Take your shoes off! Y'all come back, here!
